Background:
David
McGuire hails from Coventry, England. Since he was a child,
David enjoyed banging on all manner of
objects while
listening to music. Being naturally talented in music, he
finally received a drumkit at age 16 after mastering the
saxophone and the keyboard.
Performance
Background:
David
started his music career playing drums in various bands at
college and university. Since then he has gone on to perform
with numerous original and cover bands.
Singapore Performance
Background:
David has
been in Singapore for over 10 years, and active in the
Singapore Music Scene. David has been requested to
perform at events such as the Singapore Street Festival
and Battle of the Bands with alternative
original bands Grayrayne
and Transceiver.
He has also
performed with pop/rock cover bands Happy Endings and Back
Again at various pubs around Singapore.
David
has been invited as a special guest with the Blues
Machine at the Crazy Elephant at Clarke Quay many
times.
David can
currently be seen performing 6 nights a week with Singapore's
legendary blues-rock band Heritage at JJ Atlante pub on Duxton
Road.

David has a friendly and patient personality
that makes every drum lessons very enjoyable. He also believes
people learn best through having
fun.
During his
lessons, he makes it interesting for his students
through allowing them to familiarize basic drumming
techniques with modern pop songs.
He inspires
and motivate his students by showing them the limitless
possibilities of drumming and pushes them gently in every
progressive lesson.
