A highly
talented drummer, Jason has been performing in gigs at notable
music joints such as Crazy Elephant, as well as taking part in
public performances at Clarke Quay area. He first started out
in a Hard Rock/Grunge band called Withered Tree from
2005-06.
Their band
performed in notable local music venues such as Prince of
Wales, Timbre and Gashaus. They also emerged first runner-up in
the 2006 World Battle of the Bands competition, gathering with
them a spectacular local group of
following.
Jason is
currently committed to guiding and molding future drummers with
much care and attention to the finer points of drumming
technique and style development.
He also
currently gigs regularly with a Dorian Roach and The Cruzers, a
band devoted to Rock music from the late 60's through to the
1970's. You can catch him in action with the band at the Crazy
Elephant every Thursday starting 10pm.
He is a
committed and friendly drum teacher who has groomed his
students very quickly. Students enjoy his detailed explanation
and ability to make every lesson interesting.
